Shepard Fairey (OBEY) - Obey 3 Face Collage - 2016 There are three separate offset lithographic prints, each are 18 x 24 inch and on cream speckle tone paper. Each print is signed by Shepard Fairey from the open edition. Shepard Fairey originally created this three face vertical set with the collage style background as a group of paintings. He liked them so much that he decided to make an open edition series of lithographs. The series is based on his iconic 'André the Giant' motif. André the Giant was a French professional wrestler and actor whose graphic motif was designed by Fairey in 1989 for a sticker campaign while still at college. This later evolved into the now famous "Obey Giant" campaign. The three prints are filled with typical Fairey imagery as well as three icons from the worlds of art, politics and music - Andy Warhol, Martin Luther King and David Bowie - all huge influences on Fairey himself.
